Above is the old weather map, and the new 'fixed' version of the new weather map.

The RED box shows the approximate size Scotland appeared on the OLD maps.

The YELLOW box shows the approximate size of England and Wales on the OLD maps.

You can clearly see how much Scotland has shrunk on the new map, and how much England and Wales has grown.

Is what the BBC consider to be a fix to the tilt issue?  There is no need for a tilt at all when showing
the whole of the British Isles - it adds NOTHING to the detail of the forecast.

Even worse, is their first attempt.
